Lungs
This font is unique as is the font from the official Florence and the Machine website, but the closest font to it is 'Clementine Sketch'. The font is curly and represents the bands name, it is old fashioned in style and modern at the same time, it is a fun type of text. It also looks quite sophisticated but also playful which is why i like it.
Font family- Clementine sketch
Style- Curly, bold
Sans Serif
Kerning Size- the letters are linked, so little kerning
Date created- The first album with the font on was released in the UK on 6th July 2009
Who created it- Orlando Weeks designed the front cover of their album 'Lungs'

Font
Italic
I like this font because it is neat and looks smooth with how the ends of the letters curl up and look asif they are going to join up with each other like handwriting as it leans slightly to the right.
Font family- italic, italicC and italicT
Style- italic
Sans serif
Kerning- some letters are more closer together while some are quite far apart, so it ranges from small-medium.
Date created-between the 15th and 16th centuries (1420's-1501)
Who created it-Niccolo De' Niccoli and Aldus Manutius.

The Swarm- homework
Step 2: Next, i added the dude on the left (Josh Franceschi from 'You Me At Six') and i used the magnet lasso tool to remove the background around him.
Step 3: Then, i added the speech bubble and then the writing in the middle of it (Is it a bird? Is it a plane? 'Is this the end of the world?!' -ym@s) so the text would be on top of the bubble instead of behind.
Step 4: I found the picture of the alien spaceship and i added it to the picture, i used the magic wand tool to delete the background of it and then i slightly rotated the image.
Step 5: Next, I wrote the lyrics 'is this the end of the world?!' on the poster and used the opacity to fade the writing, i then duplicated the layer twice but turned the opacity up, as i placed the lyrics on top of one another, i then rotated them in different directions as the writing gets brighter.
Step 6: Finally i got the image of a star off google and placed it onto the poster, i duplicated it eight times and faded the opacity on each star to 50, i then rotated and moved each star to the top of the poster (the sky).
-Therefore, my poster is complete.

Keep your head up
I've picked Ben Howards album artwork because; he's a beautiful singer who plays inspirational music, and this cover is different to any other, hes my favourite artist.
Dream vacation
I've picked this picture of New York because i think it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and would one day love to go see it, or possibly live in it.
Roy Lichtenstein
Roy Lichtenstein was featured in my GCSE artwork and is a famous artist who's work i've researched and worked from, he's inspirational, and focuses on doing cartoon like designs, this is called 'Pop Art'.
Leeeeeds Festttt
I've picked this because i went to Leeds fest for the day on sunday and it was one of the best days of my life, which i'll never forget and a memory i'll always cherish, all the bands i saw were amazing and the experience was definitely interesting, down to the smells and the mud.
Beacon
I've picked this album cover because of how different it is, the albums name 'beacon' means light and the light in the cover is between the womans legs but is still coming from the ceiling, showing creativeness.
